Sindh Extends Summer Vacations until August 14

Karachi – The Sindh Education Department has decided to extend school summer vacations until August 14. This decision has been taken due to the intense heatwave and the possibility of heavy rains in the region.

Earlier, the schools were set to reopen after the summer break, but considering the harsh weather conditions and potential rainfall, the Sindh Education Department deemed it necessary to prolong the holidays for the safety and well-being of students and staff.

Sindh’s Education Minister emphasized the need for this extension, stating that the primary concern is the health and safety of the children. The decision aims to protect students from the adverse effects of extreme weather conditions and ensure that they can return to school in a safer environment.

This move comes amidst growing concerns about the heatwave affecting various parts of Sindh and predictions of heavy rainfall that could lead to further complications. By extending the vacations, the department hopes to mitigate these risks.
