On January 16, 2024, the federal government of Pakistan is contemplating a noteworthy adjustment, considering a Rs5 per litre reduction in petrol prices, Rs2 in diesel, Rs3 in kerosene oil, and Rs1.75 in LSD, as proposed by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA).
The new POL rates effective from January 16, 2024 are being worked on and will be finalized on January 15, Ogra sources said.
