Karachi – According to sources, Pakistanis affected by inflation may not receive any relief in the upcoming fifteen-day review of petrol and diesel prices.
With petrol prices expected to continue to fall in the next two weeks, the public was taken by surprise when the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) advised the government to maintain the current prices for the next fortnight. This unexpected recommendation dashed the hopes of many people.
In a recent announcement, the federal government of Pakistan based in the capital has chosen to maintain the existing prices of petrol and high-speed diesel for the next two weeks.
