An earthquake has shaken the third largest province of Pakistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Tremors were felt in various regions including Peshawar, Chitral, Bajaur, Upper Dir, Khyber, and Swat, causing widespread panic among the residents.
According to the Seismology Center, the earthquake registered a magnitude of 5 on the Richter scale. The quake’s epicenter was located in the Hindu Kush mountain range at a depth of 211 kilometers below the surface.
The sudden jolt left citizens in fear, highlighting the region’s vulnerability to natural disasters.
