Multan – A fire broke out in an pesticide chemical manufacturing factory in Multan, causing widespread destruction. The fire in the industrial estate was finally brought under control after a 9-hour long struggle by the rescue authorities.
The fire broke out in the late afternoon, the presence of flammable Petrochemicals making the situation worse. The explosion was caused by the explosion of a drum of chemicals, which further spread the fire.
Rescue services immediately dispatched 17 fire trucks and two ambulances to the scene. Despite their efforts, the entire factory was engulfed in flames, but all the personnel were evacuated safely.
