As Ramadan 2024 nears its end, anticipation for Eid-ul-Fitr celebrations grows in Lahore and surrounding areas. The All Pakistan Private Schools and Colleges Association, under the leadership of President Dr. Malik Abrar, has officially announced the holiday schedule for educational institutions. From April 10th to April 14th, schools and colleges will remain closed, providing students with the opportunity to partake in the joyous festivities of Eid-ul-Fitr 2024.
Following this announcement, the Punjab government has also issued notices for public holidays, aligning with the educational break. Offices following a five-day workweek will be closed from April 10th to April 12th. Meanwhile, those operating on a six-day workweek will enjoy an extended break until April 13th.
The federal government has confirmed the same holiday schedule, ensuring a nationwide celebration. The Ruet-e-Hilal Committee is set to make the final decision regarding the sighting of the moon on April 9th, determining the exact date of Eid-ul-Fitr 2024.
For students, this break is not just a time away from studies; it’s an opportunity to bond with family, participate in traditional celebrations, and reflect on the spiritual significance of Ramadan.
